New Grading System for SPM

A new grading system would be used to grade all papers in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia starting from this year. There would be grades: A plus, A, A minus, B plus, B, C plus, C, D, E and G, which would replace the previous having A plus the highest grade and, E and G for those who fail.

Govt jobs for 3000 ICT grads

In June, 3000 unemployed information and communication technology (ICT) graduates would get a chance to work as the Government spends RM72mil to become facilitators in schools with SchoolNet connectivity nationwide. The graduates would be paid RM 1000 under the internship programme so as to help them weather the economic slowdown.
