Dear students and staff,

The library is pleased to announce the launch of a new institutional repository service, which will be known as APres (APU Repository). APres is a digital archive and preservation platform which allows access to hundreds of undergraduate final year projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations.

The library is currently uploading final year projects and master’s theses to begin with as these materials are highly used as reference by the current students. The library’s plan in future is to include publications authored by APU staff and faculty. The library team will work together with CTI team from time to time to implement features in APres as the need arises and of which will benefit the APU community. As this is a work in progress, we encourage users to regularly visit APres to view the updated collection of resources.

Anyone is welcome to use the repository service to access publicly available content (abstract only). APU staff and students will need to use their APKey login credentials to sign in to view the full-text content. APRes can be accessed from the APU Library Website or from here and users can begin to browse by using the advanced search or browse by subject options to view the materials.

We hope that our students and staff will find the new initiative as a great reference tool to support the online teaching and learning experience in APU!
